Subscribe.... Apex has some of the best covers I've seen of late and some seriously good content as well (lest we forget the Brian Anderson story that he had as part of the collab he did with Dean Koontz for the Frankenstien trilogy - what great stuff!! I was psyched to see this in that issue and it wasn't even the main attraction - you can't go wrong with Apex (no its not a technical school, it's a great genre mag)

Obviously people should subscribe to the magazine because Fran suggested it. She doesn't recommend just anything, so the fact that she's on board with the publication as a Lifetime Member should show that it's well worth the money. Also, it gives writers a chance to see others in the same field. That's always an added bonus.

Great cover! I'm so surprised to hear about this. Apex is awesome; it's put together so well and the content is great. Just a little while ago I was wondering to myself why some other lit magazines that have bigger names don't put together as sharp a product as Apex.

Everyone should subscribe to The Apex Digest of Science Fiction and Horror, because by operating in those two genres, they go waaay beyond where they would have gone had they just focused on one of those.

Why, you asks, dear Sis? Well, first of all, have you seen some of the things Jason and company have put out. I can name two of my favorite people that they have or are going to publish. Umm . . . you and Brandy Schwan. Those two are good enough reasons for me.

Either way, Apex is one of the small press publishers that I admire and I have yet to see them put out something that was not quality.

I wish I were one of those folks who just had money to give Jason and Apex,...
