I might be taking a warehouse job soon, one that allows the use of an iPod. So, what are some good podcasts I can load up on? I already listen to Pod of
Horror, Psuedopod, and EscapePod.

I'm going to stick with recommending the all things zombie podcast, Library of the Living Dead.
They often do readings from small press and independent zombie novels.

Oh yeah, and Well Told Tales.

I don't own a cell phone or a pager. I just hang around everyone I know, all the time. If someone wants to get a hold of me they just say "Mitch," and I say "What?" and turn my head slightly. - Mitch Hedberg

Some good NON horror ones are: The Ricky Gervais show (super funny), Strange But True, The Directors Cut (these guys actually don't know a lot about movies
but they're pretty funny), Penn Jillette Radio show (can be downloaded from Pennfans.com), This Week in Science

I knew of the Ricky Gervais show. In the past, I've always found good stuff on the BBC. I actually start the job tommorrow. Lets see how long all these
new adds lasts me.
Thanks, all. |

I just started listening to Stereo Radiation, a funny cast by two guys in Michigan. Two other good ones are Distorted View, a daily freakshow cast and The Jamhole, a sort of guilty pleasure. |

A couple of my non-genre favs are Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History."
Dan's got a way of approaching history that's second to none. Some of my favorite shows so far have been "Nazi Tidbits", "Bubonic
Nukes", and "The What-ifs of 1066". Great stuff. (Also available from the Itunes store for free.)
Also, "Studio 360" is great from an inspirational standpoint. The show's motto is "Get inside the creative mind" - and that's exactly what it does. Every week, Kurt Anderson hosts the show and walks you through three or four different audio-magazine style interviews with anyone and everyone from singers, directors, writers, artists et al. It's a hell of a shot in the creative arm. (This one is also available for free from Itunes.) Scott F. Falkner www.scottfalkner.com |

If you like interviews, The Agony Column has a ton of great genre-related stuff.
