I'm always mortified I'll forget someone so I seldom do a recap of a con, but I had such a lovely time with so many wonderful folks I'll give it a shot. If I forget you, please let me know rather than seethe or feel I don't love you. I honestly have a total crap memory for names, but I'll never forget your face. Okay, here goes.

Ron - What a treat to finally meet you. Thank you for being so amazingly gracious and supportive. I'm reading FLESH WELDER right now and loving it.

Shrews - Entirely too few hugs, but one Shrews hug lingers in the memory for a lifetime. And you're my kind of barbarian, baby--your reading was an event not to be missed.

Elizabeth - Wow, what a powerhouse of a woman you are. Fabulous voice I wish I had just a smidgen of, not to mention some of your other fabulous attributes. I loved paneling with you and finally getting a chance to bask in your radiance. Btw, I still owe you a buck for my halo. Send me your paypal and I'll be sure to add interest to that dollar.

Deena and Matt - So glad you came! I always feel like I'm seeing great old friends when I see you even though our time together always seems so short. I love you guys. Thanks for coming to the party!

Jason - What can I say, boss, but you sure do know how to put on a great book launch party. I can't thank you enough for your friendship and support. Thanks also for convincing me to go to Hypericon. I had a blast. Btw, your table was danged pretty! So was Justin (so glad he was there--what a wonderful guy).

Mari - Feels like I've known you all my life. It was wonderful hanging out with you and I can't wait to see you next time. What a doll you are...Udderly fantastic! And I promise to learn how to spell some day. Huggs to you always.

James - At last! I was so glad to finally meet you, and you were just as I expected...a total sweetheart with a rock and roll heart. Fabulous reading! Everyone should read THE FORUM, thus sayeth I!!

Tod and Mark - Oh man, a girl couldn't ask for better guys to hang out with. Thanks so much for the great company, for some Nashville shopping and fun with GPS. Can't wait to see you all real soon. Thanks again!

Bryan - Sorry you didn't make the con, but having dinner with you and Rachel was a real pleasure. Looking forward to seeing you both again. (And Tod and Mark, thanks for inviting me)

Alethea - No con should be without a goddess and I suggest that all con coordinators hire you to do the job since you are the finest goddess in the land. You're one radiant, lovely lass and a hell of a party animal. I loved spending time with you and I can't wait to see you again soon. It's always a joy.

Toni - What a sweetie! I hope they finally got the hot water sorted out for you. Thanks so much for hunting me down and spending some time with me. You're great fun and funny as heck.

Troy - Thanks for coming by. I loved meeting you, but wish we could have had more time to chat. I'll post those Lansdale pics so feel free to snatch them if you'd like. It was a pleasure finally getting to see you.

John H. - Man, you're like the old Timex ad - takes a lickin' but keeps on tickin'. I envy your stamina, but mostly I wanted to thank you for being wonderful company and taking such awesome pics and video. I don't have the patience to do that in such volume so I really admire all the work you put into filming, etc. Wow. Great vid! Btw, you're a force of nature, my friend.

Mike - I had a blast chatting with you on the roof (even if you don't remember a word of it). And lunch at the Melting Pot with you John was fabulous. Thanks for working so hard to make sure I got back in time for my panel (and for babysitting the bubbles...sorry I forgot them...twice!). Old Mario Andretti had nothin' on you, baby!

Of course, there were tons of other folks that made the weekend fabulous and I thank them all. If I forgot you, please give me a shout. It was a great con!
