And I'm with Mari. I think I might not want to come back either. Those photos are spectacular. What's odd for me is that I've been in every state and every major city in the U.S. and have seen so much--but there's something so unique about the landscape there.

From a backpacking trip earlier this year (winter) into the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area. 
From a point near my campsite at the bottom of the gorge. Had the whole place to myself, I think.
