I didn't think he would take me seriously when I suggested it as a cure for a headache, hence my surprised expression!

Michelle: Were the lily pics taken in Wisconsin, or Arizona?
The details are nice and crisp. I could picture those in a calender. I, also, would like to see more UK photos.
I'm a "she."

I don't own a cell phone or a pager. I just hang around everyone I know, all the time. If someone wants to get a hold of me they just say "Mitch," and I say "What?" and turn my head slightly. - Mitch Hedberg

Thank you for the links! I'll check them out.
And I'm with Mari. I think I might not want to come back either. Those photos are spectacular. What's odd for me is that I've been in every state and every major city in the U.S. and have seen so much--but there's something so unique about the landscape there.

From a backpacking trip earlier this year (winter) into the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area.
From a point near my campsite at the bottom of the gorge. Had the whole place to myself, I think.

Here are several pictures I took on a trip back home to Idaho four years ago.
They are of the Snake River Canyon near where I grew up. |

I love canyons. Great places to view, and great places to hike.

This black & white photograph was taken on a Thursday evening. My wife is telling me to put the rubbish out for the binmen.
