Due to the current flap over Web copyright laws and quotations on forums and websites and blogs and such that's leading all sorts of forum administrators to ban direct quotations, I won't copy and paste like I'd usually do. I'll just recommend the article, which does some interesting delving into the cultural trend that this novel represents.
It also mentions a forthcoming book for which the author has received a contract: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
