Just finished John Saul's "Faces of Fear" (meh) but I'm reading "The Darker Side" by Cody McFadyen now. I know I've read
something by him before because character details are familiar but I don't know why he isn't already on my list of authors I follow. Slipped through
the cracks, I guess.

Reading Pandora In The Congo by Albert Sánchez Piñol, author of Cold Skin. A riveting novel that has me wishing I didn't have to work from 9 to 5 so I could finish it in one (or two)
sittings. Please give this Catalonian author a chance, if you haven't by now. I really wish someone would publish Cold
Skin and Pandora in the Congo as limited editions.

Just One Look, by Harlan Coben - My impression was that this guy was regarded as a good writer of intelligent modern crime thrillers. Guess not. This is a
pretty bad book so far - bad writing, bad characters. I'll probably power through, since I'm halfway done, but not good. Sam

I did just pick up Stephen King's On Writing, but I just got Under the Dome from the store. I might set On Writing aside for a while. I'm not sure yet.
