say I bought it. Five chapters in and it's everything you want and love in a Hap and Leonard book. Help ensure that Joe will be able to keep writing and

I'm doing my part! I preordered mine and mentioned it on another board, resulting in an order from someone who didn't know about it. It's been
almost 8 years since Captains Outrageous. I was wondering if Joe had abandoned these guys.

Mine arrived Tuesday and I finished it last night. I thought it was great. The body count was probably the highest yet! Not that that's what I liked
most about it, but it's so satisfying when the bad guys get theirs.

I loved it too. Joe knows just when to pour on the action and when to draw back and make the story introspective. Vanilla Sky is one of the best in the series.

Pre-ordered mine, i twas shipped Monday but not here yet. I LOOOOOOOOOVE Lansdale and always pre-order him because I tihnk it is a shame that a man this
talented isn't a bigger seller, thus making his publisher dubious.
