Yes, we had Walkmans, and we were damn glad to have 'em, too! We had to make do with 90 minutes of music that we'd laboriously recorded onto the tape,
but that music was special, I tell you, because it was the product of our own sweat and blood to actually record in real time from vinyl records. And
even God couldn't help you if somebody slammed a door while you were recording and the record skipped! Kids these days with their iPods and iPhones and
i-thises and i-thats, they don't know what real work bootlegging albums used to be! And for what? A cassette tape that didn't even shuffle the songs!
Aw, the world's gone soft, I tell you, soft and mushy, just like the Pleiadeans want us to be. And when we're good and mushy, they'll swoop down in
their UFOs and cook us for supper, and they might as well 'cuz that's all we'll be good for. Bah!

I never bought an ACTUAL Walkman brand tape player, I'd always get cheap knock-off and off-brands...and they usually broke within 6 months. Anyone ever
have a player that ONLY had a FFW button? No rewind, just FFW.
And kids today...will never know the endless frustration of having to fix your favorite cassette that's just been eaten by a tape player. And JUST when you think you have it all fed back into the shell, using a pencil to 'rewind' the tape into it...you realize that at some point the tape has gotten twisted and you have to start all over again! Love my Mp3 Player. But, get this...it's a Walkman brand Mp3 player! LOL After all these years, I finally got a real Walkman.
