It's actually the uterus which drops out, which is not as uncommon as it sounds, especially in really old ladies. It happened to my wife's 98-year-old aunt, which has led to no end of family jokes and speculation as to which of the other ladies might be looking at something similar somewhere down the line. I just don't want to be vacuuming the living room and have to say, "Honey, it fell out again. Where's the staple gun?"

Ummm...I hesitate to mention this...but I once worked at a psychiatric facility where one of the patients (a rather kind, if not out and out docile, lady with schizophrenia) had this happen with "the other end"....that's right...prolapsed rectum.

Bullshit.
I work for an OB/GYN practice, and we see, literally, dozens of patients a month with this, and WORSE than this. The Docs take it all in stride...They've seen it all before. They can make a grown man puke with stories about stuff they've seen.
It's nasty, but hardly uncommon, and it's fairly easily fixed with surgery. Hell, even without surgery, in some cases.

I also don't think there's ever anything wrong with talking openly about medical problems. I don't think there's any medical problem that should be a source of shame. There's a time and place for every conversation, but I do think that in the right context, being open about medical problems can be a huge relief to others with the same problems. I've certainly had at least a dozen Shockliners and customers tell me that hearing me and others be open about their OCD (as one example) has helped them immensely.

where all those people sell used books and other junk on the street,
I saw my penis lying on a blanket
next to a broken toaster oven.
Some guy was selling it.
I had to buy it off him.
He wanted twenty-two bucks, but I talked him down to seventeen.
I took it home, washed it off,
and put it back on. I was happy again. Complete.
