You must be blown away by now by the June issue of all new authors, some worldwide, who are great writers that submit me better stories like Laura Bickle, Jon Bautz & Ben Eads, all are now with me, say you suck! Plus Teri Jacobs, who is too erotic for a queen like you and Jason Keene, awesome writer; none of which would ever work with you as well as my new authors because they recognize a great site like mine vs the childscrawl of yours. Next month I have James Cheetham, who declined your offer is still with me. Ken Kupstis, my buddy, who much prefers SNM Mag, Tamara Wilhite, who X-d NVH, the list goes on. Keep all your young nobody's who wouldn't be published elsewhere and can only affiliate with crap. You are the laughing joke of writers and your all genre mag is for fags and niggers, Queen David, the library editor. Embarrasing getting a hardon in the library, huh? Waah, he's harrassing and stalking me over the internet. Pussy ass. The Overlord has risen from the ashes of NVH to kick your ass staright out the genre, admit it. He has hacked into my mag files, stolen my stories, deleted important info, slandered me, harrassed me, and more or less STALKED me like an internet madman. Please...any legal advice from anyone? Petition the court for a Restraining Order (sometimes called an Order of Protection). Have it served on him in a legal manner by either the local Sheriff's Department or a private process server. If he violates the Restraining Order, report it immediately to the appropriate law enforcement agency. If there truly has been compromise of your computer system by an outside source, this is a criminal offense and should be reported to your local police department. Bear in mind, many police departments lack the necessary resources to investigate such a case. Plus, this kind of thing would be pretty far down on the list of priorities. But, report it anyway and request a copy of the police report once it is completed. Attach it to the petition for the restraining order as discussed above. Most states do have statutes against cyberstalking and online harassment now. Have your attorney look into those as well. First and foremost, if he wasn't threatened by you he'd never have any reason to keep up this dialog. I have never heard of that magazine before now. It's a no pay, has ads for Xlibris on it, and furthermore they aren't even paying for their own domain or web space. That said, ignore and record. Keep all the emails, keep a record of all contact dates, times and mediums. Consider making your web space and computer more secure. If you have the spare money, then yes, get a lawyer for more accurate information. But if you don't have the money you have no choice but to ignore your way out. Quite frankly, many a lawyer will tell you you have little to no case. Many places don't take threatening emails and web site hacks seriously. I just want to say though, that posting correspondence, if I remember correctly when it became a legal issue (here, I think), is actually against the law. I'm probably wrong, but just in case I'm not. I seem to recall a certain expectation of privacy the letter writer is entitled to in matters of correspondence. I spoke to Teri, the writer mentioned in the guy's rant (she's one of my closest friends), to warn her. She said, "David's a nice guy and doesn't deserve that kind of treatment." Good luck!
