Had a LOT of fun with this one, directed by the guy who did NIGHTWATCH (which I loved). This is half-Nightwatch, half-Shoot-'Em'-Up. I give it a B+.
Very well acted and well directed.
I will say this though -- 95% of the cool moments have been shown in the trailer (and they even tossed in a couple of things into the trailer that didn't make the final movie). That said, there are a couple of things from the film too violent to make the ads, and the film still has a very cool feel to it. It just is very noticeable that so many of the best bits of the movie were in the trailer.
Still -- definitely see it. Here's hoping it does well -- great to see R-rated "mature" fare offered during the summer.
