For anyone who preordered "Snuff" over at the Horror Mall, you should be receiving an email from them soon (if you haven't already). For reasons
I wish I could understand, our publisher decided not to fill the preorders. Your money has been refunded.
It's a shitty way to do business, and I have no real explanation. Eric and I have done everything in our power to get those orders filled, but the publisher (despite the sales already being made) decided he doesn't want to put the upfront money into ordering and shipping the books to the Horror Mall.
Larry has been more than patient (the books were supposed to be shipped immediately after being made available in early June) and I want to emphasize that this in no way should reflect poorly on him or the Horror Mall. The blame lies squarely on our end.
To clear up any misconceptions, "Snuff" is in print and available through Amazon, B&N.com and can be ordered in brick and mortar stores if it's not in stock. The problem with the Horror Mall had nothing to do with printing delays or anything like that; it was simply (what I see as a terrible) business decision on the part of our publisher. I can assure you we've taken steps to make sure that won't be a problem in the future.
To those of you who have contacted us in regards to the canceled orders, thank you for your continued support and I'm sorry you had to go to the trouble of reordering the book.
Also, thank you to Larry at the Horror Mall for your patience.
If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Sincerest apologies,
Adam
