Great review, Ally. I'm not surprised. It's a cracker so far (five stories in).

Apologies for the confusion, LL. It's my Yorkshire dialect.

Thank you Stephen and LL! I put everything into writing that book. It saved me from myself - in some stories I wrote about fear, sadness and loss but not
without a little humour with my horror too :>) Through writing I was able to face my fear of death.

I just finished Shadow Upon Shadow, and so far, it is excellent. I will post a review when I am done as well. Craig

Hi David - indeed the first print run has sold out now and Screaming Dreams is on the second print run. My publisher Steve Upham is very pleased about that but
it is hard work marketing in such times. There again we all need a little something to take our minds off it all :>)
Thanks Craig....a review would be great! Shadow upon Shadow has a strange genesis indeed. Shockliner and writer Stephen Bacon was kind enough to do a review too which is on his site. 10th November 2008. http://stephenbacon.co.uk/ I'm not going to start new threads for new reviews just keep them all in one place. In a world where time is valuable to all, I appreciate that anyone has taken the time to comment.

My pleasure, Allyson. Done the 2nd story now. Amazed at the coincidence of this being late June!

It took many years of waiting for the 4th story, Hunter's Moon to come to the surface and demand to be written. Bordeaux was the perfect
setting with the flashbacks to the terrible fire in Manchester.
Just a little secret to share, Des - the ghost woman who was wearing the brown buckskin was Calamity Jane :>) surname Martha Jane Cannary Burke, although I spelt it Canary. |

The real-time review/author small parallel observations with Des Lewis on the Ramsey Campbell board has just finished and I'm feeling quite emotional. What
a journey together, Des. Thank you, so much.

Thanks, Allyson. I can truly say that it has been my most interesting experience so far in the real-time reviewing experiment of mine; it presented the most productive challenges of leitmotifs-into-gestalt and 'Intentional Fallacy' reconciliation.
