Does anyone know of a good freeware program? I need to capture an image from a CBC documentary for my new book and all the programs I've downloaded leave a
watermark.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I assume that you're using some variant of WinDoze.
In case you're using a Mac it's a very simple task, which is built into the Mac OS: freeze the film in the DVD player and press the key combination Apple+SHIFT+4 (the number four). Your cursor turns into a sight, then you drag the selection box over the area you want, from upper left to lower right. When you release the mouse button the graphic file appears on your desktop. If you just do a print-screen (Ctrl-P) and paste into a graphics program, that should do the trick. I'm not sure it works well with Windows Media Player,
but if you use something else like Quicktime or Real Player it should work.
